The GIORDIS RAVIOLI MOLD ™ is a one-of-a-kind pasta board used for making your own ravioli pasta. Each board is designed using 100% organic real hardwood. If you love making homemade pasta as much as we do, this is a definite must-have.

This RAVIOLI MOLD is handmade out of a beautiful Bubinga Wood and ideal for preparing large single-servings of delicious ravioli pasta which can be filled with ingredients according to your favorite flavors such as, spinach, ricotta cheese, mushrooms, egg yolks or even beef.

All of our boards are crafted from high quality hardwoods and finished using Odie’s Oil, an American premium quality mineral oil that is food safe, solvent free, non-toxic and safe for all including kids, pets, and the environment.

WOOD / The wood used to build this board comes from the Central African Bubinga Tree.  We chose this lumber because of its stunning grain figures, such as flamed, pommele, and waterfall, which make this wood truly unique. It consists of a rose-colored background with dark purple striping. This type of wood is heavy, dense, and exceptionally hard which resists fungi, dry wood borers and termites, as well as moisture. Bubinga wood is one of the more easily worked dense exotic woods. Once finished using Odie’s Oil, it is completely water-resistant.

DESIGN / This particular design attempts to replicate the symmetrical patterns that you would observe looking into a Kaleidoscope. The various wood colors represent the colorful Kaleidoscope shapes and attempts to recreate the same mesmerizing gorgeous display. This design is available in 4 types of wood. The word Kaleidoscope” is derived from the Ancient Greek word ‘kalos’, meaning beauty and we hope to inspire our chefs to create beautiful art when making delicious pasta ravioli using GIORDIS RAVIOLI MOLD™

INCLUDED IN THE PACKAGE:

• Each mold includes one wooden rolling pin which is used to attach the two layers of pasta to make the ravioli. Each rolling pin is 20-25 mm in diameter and 20-25 cm in length. The rolling pins allow you to easily attach the pasta to the board to finish making your ravioli. They come in various wood types.
